International Conference on
"Health and Environment 2011 - Frontiers in Environmental Health"

Challenges to Water Safety

will be held in Luxembourg on the 28th of October 2011

The conference will be held in the Hotel NH Luxembourg

HENVI2011 will present insights in the current knowledge on challenges to water safety due to the presence of nanosized objects (virus and nanoparticles). Due to their similar size virus and man-made nanoparticles may share many features in their interaction with living organisms or materials. Furthermore nanomaterials are currently developed for water treatment to remove chemicals and microbial pathogens while at the same time potentially leaching nanoparticles.

The program will include keynote lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions covering recent developments in the field of determination and interaction of nanosized objects (virus, nanoparticles) and organisms or cells.

We sincerely hope that the Scientific Program will allow all of you to take part in creative discussions while also enjoying our beautiful city, its people and its surroundings.
